During my experience as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, I have supported children across different areas of the curriculum by reinforcing concepts, assisting with activities and helping children access learning at their own level.

Supporting the Teacher
I see the Teaching Assistant and teacher relationship as a partnership. My role is to support the teacher's learning objectives while ensuring individual children receive the attention and encouragement they need.
I have supported classroom preparation, learning activities, individual children, small groups and classroom routines. I have also been trusted to support structured lessons when the class teacher was absent, ensuring continuity for the children.
