Patience
I remain calm and supportive when children find learning challenging.
About Me
My journey in education has taught me that every child learns differently. As a Teaching Assistant, I have had the opportunity to work closely with children, support their learning and development, and become part of their everyday classroom experience.
I particularly value the opportunity to support children who may need additional guidance, encouragement or individualised support. For me, being a Teaching Assistant is not simply about assisting with classroom tasks; it is about understanding each child's needs, building their confidence and helping them become increasingly independent.
My experience as a Year 2 Teaching Assistant has allowed me to develop strong skills in classroom support, behaviour management, lesson preparation, learning activities and working collaboratively with teachers.
I am now looking to continue developing my career within a school where I can use my experience and genuine passion for supporting children to make a positive difference.
My Approach

Child-Centred Approach
Sometimes they simply need someone to believe in them.
I try to understand the child behind the behaviour, the learner behind the difficulty and the individual behind the label.
I believe effective support begins with patience, observation and understanding. My role is to help children feel safe enough to try, make mistakes, learn and try again.
